The atmosphere is calm and minimal, with short, functional exchanges between customers and cashiers rather than full sentences or small talk. Even when the total is higher than expected, Vietnamese shoppers tend to keep their reactions subtle, pay quickly, say “thank you,” and leave without lingering.
